Double podium at Round 1 of the British Championships
Tomenchuk took to the British Championships podium for the first time after a consistent weekend in the top ten, gaining six places in the final into P3 Ghandour also in the lead battles throughout the weekend and the final, taking P5 before a penalty dropped him down the order. Palazzo also with a top ten finish after a top 3 in one of his heats! Really strong weekend for Griffiths, Morris and Freeman too in the top 10 throughout their heats with strong pace, however unfortunate final for them all.
Graham finished on the podium in Seniors, after finishing both his heats in the top 5 Veitch took a top 3 in his first heat and rounded out his weekend in the top 8! Walker recovered well through his heats after P32 in qualifying, gaining thirteen and six places in the heats and a further 4 into the top 10 of the final!
In Mini, Spencer took the victory on track, recovering from P.1 in qualifying however a later penalty dropped him outside the top 10. Smith, Livings and Cormack with strong pace throughout the weekend, ending in P5, 6 and 7! Cooke climbed up 14 places in the final after a tough set of heats into the top 10 too!
